Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Effective date: August 11, 2026
This policy explains how Dufault & Laurentian Maple processes and delivers orders.
1. Processing
Orders are normally processed within 1 to 3 business days following payment authorization. Business days exclude weekends and Québec statutory holidays.
Processing may take longer during promotions, holidays, inventory checks or unusually busy periods. The written order confirmation will state the applicable delivery date or delivery estimate.
2. Destinations
We ship throughout Canada and may offer international delivery to selected destinations displayed at checkout. Available services and restrictions depend on the destination, product and carrier.
3. Estimated delivery times
Typical estimates after dispatch are:
- Laval and Greater Montréal: 1–4 business days;
- Laurentides, Lanaudière and Montérégie: 2–5 business days;
- Québec City and other southern Québec locations: 2–7 business days;
- northern and remote Québec locations: 6–15 business days;
- Ontario and New Brunswick: 3–8 business days;
- other Canadian provinces and territories: 5–12 business days;
- remote Canadian locations: 7–18 business days;
- express services, where available: approximately 1–4 business days; and
- international destinations: approximately 7–21 business days, excluding customs processing.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly identified as guaranteed. Snowstorms, wildfire, flooding, road closures, customs inspections and carrier disruptions may cause delays.
4. Shipping charges
Shipping charges are displayed before the order is submitted. Charges may depend on destination, weight, dimensions, value and service level. Amounts are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
5. Address accuracy
You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us immediately after ordering if you notice an error. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after processing begins.
If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal or failure to collect it, we may deduct carrier return costs from a voluntary refund or request payment for reshipment, where permitted by law.
6. Tracking and delivery
Where available, tracking details will be sent to the email address supplied at checkout. Delivery may occur at the address, mailbox, community mailbox, parcel locker, reception desk or another location accepted by the carrier.
7. Delayed or missing orders
If an order does not arrive by the stated or estimated date, review the tracking information and contact us. We will work with the carrier to investigate.
Québec law may allow the consumer to cancel a distance contract if goods are not delivered within 30 days after the written delivery date or, where no delivery date was specified, within 30 days after the contract was entered into. The applicable legal conditions and deadlines will prevail.
8. Damaged packages
If a package arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and product and contact us promptly. Keep the packaging until our assessment or the carrier investigation is complete.
9. International duties
International orders may incur customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges or local fees. Unless expressly included at checkout, the recipient is responsible for these charges.
